So many tears - so many lives uprooted by the sudden terror 
From the earth - and from the skies - So many - many tears -
As heartache rips apart once loving homes and carefree hearts - 
And hurls them from the arms of those who love and need them -so
Much blood and tears - and now they lie - like smashed rejected toys -
Beyond all hope of immediate recall - at the feet of those who have
Somehow survived the worst experiences of all - the devastation that has
Come - straight from  the belly of the pit of hell - to find themselves bereft -
Alone - amidst the chaos that was once their life - their home - with no
Familiar voice to tell them - this is but a dream - and all is well - and 

Dry their tears ..

Their oh  so many 

So very many  -  many tears .

Dear Lord - have mercy .

These words came to me as I was praying about the recent devastation
in the Philippines . ..So many thousands of lives lost ... and for those
who have survived ...so much heartache , fear and tears ...

We have so much in the West to be thankful for ...

Let us never forget ..

Oh Lord have mercy we pray .

Have Mercy ....amen
