 "Christmas's From Long Ago"

I remember Christmas's
From long ago,
With decorated trees
And new falling snow.
~~~
The sounds of carolers
Rang through the air.
Tinsel and garland,
Strung everywhere.
~~~
The smell from the kitchen,
In bright early morn.
Mom stayed busy,
Baking up a storm.
~~~
Christmas cards,
From family and friends.
Candles lit up
from end to end.
~~~
When the family would gather,
All around the tree.
So full of anticipation,
Of what it would be.
~~~
But I'll never forget,
The reason why.
We celebrate the son
Who lives on high.
~~~
