Oh, I Am Not Wasteful

With Each-Etched Silverware Tool
I Take and Treasure Every Tasteful
From Bowls of Gold With Smooth Sauces
Dipped From Bejeweled Tourines With Ladles

and Dab With The Finest, Linen Napkins
Knowing Each Has Our Personal Name Labels
Placed Beside Huge Diamond Plates
Upon A Copper & Pearl-Inlaid Table

... Yes, Upon A Round Diamond Plate
of The Choicest, I Truly Appreciate
All The Meaty & Merciful Words of GOD
That I Talked Of - As I Ate ...

... Every Juicy-Succulent, Tender Morsel
and Fresh, Fishers of Men - Fillet'
Every Broth and Simmered Stew
and Esteemed, Steamed - Soup Entre'

This Dinner So Divinely-Dressed Wasn't Rushed
It Took A Labor of Love To Complete - Yes Much
It Marinated Tender-Breasts & Seasoned Such
Which Rose From Dripped Gravies' Final Touch

And Such A Beautiful Center Piece
Adorns & Decorates In Sheafs of Wheat
The Dining Room Glowed In Multicolor Sheens
As We Each Went In, Ready To Eat ...

... Being Served By Mighty Angels Arrayed
With Their Glistening Wings Displayed
and Waiters, Presented As Ministers
As Elders, Balanced-In, With Truth Trays

... Bearing All The Flavorful Feasts
and Famous Exact-Recipes We Were Fed
Yes, Banquets of Home-Cooked Courses
& Homemade - Unleavened, Life-Baked Bread

And The Sweetest Holy Spirit Flowed
We Sipped & Drank Like The Lord Host Said
From Christ-Born Containers By Each Family Head
In Hollowed and Aged Barrel-Kegs

Among Kinfolk & Friends & Newly Met-Guests
We Sat & Laughed & Tears of Joy Were Shed
Over All The Beauteous Bounty, Blessed
In The Lamb of GOD's Plentiful Spread

For Man Does Not Live By Bread Alone
But By Every Word - GOD's Mouth Intoned
This Is Our Meat & Vegetables - Rightly Sown
and Fruit-Seeds, Richly Grown ...

& Main Course, Appetizers & Best Meal Known
and Dessert-Cakes, Cookies & Pies & Scones
Or Suffer Stomach-Choices of Unsavory & Wrong
For Remember It Was Food The Tempter Shown
... Could Be Used To Boil A Greedy-Bone

And Those Ones Will Be The Fleshly-Feasts
Of  Sharp Beaked Vultures & Falcons
For The Greedy Wouldn't Eat GOD's Graciousness
Of Words - Or Accepted HIS Offer Seldom

Oh Children, When It Comes To GOD's Word
Don't  Starve, Or Be Rare - But Be Well-Done!
And Be Joyous & Ever So Very Grateful
And Not Finiky When Asking For Some ...

And When The Dinner Bell Toll Is Rung
Show GOD, You Appreciate What HE's Done
By Living A Life of Goodness & Love
Then JAH Will Say To You - 'You're Very Welcome'
