" Sitting In The Hot Seat  ... "

( Ps. 56: 5, 6  /   Ps. 94: 20, 21)

Sitting In The Hot Seat
and An Electric Chair
for What I Say and Do
and Quote of GOD's Love & Care

I Am Sitting In The Hot Seat
and The Electric Chair
While Those of Heated-Haze
Steam & Scheme & Stare ...

They Want To Flip The Switch
and Claim That I'm Not Fair
While Watching, Waiting & Baiting Me
and Snare ... The Public Square

They Want To Reverse The Handle
As They Pull Pranks & Swear
But They're The Ones That'll Get
The Rude-Awakening Nightmare

Tho' I'm Strapped Into A Hot Seat
of Their Electric Chair
& Its A Wonder I Don't Burst Into Flames!
From The Hidden Fuse & Glares

In Unfavorable Light - They've Set Me
of This I Am Well Aware
In Bad Company & Character
They've Cast & Seek To Compare

While Sitting In Their Hot Seat
and Their Electric Chair
But Know, Mon Coeur Forgives You
O' Mon Soeur' and Mon Frere'

I'm Sitting In The Hot Seat
and The Electric Chair
But I Knew That When I Walked GOD's Way
... I Would Be Walking There

... and Strapped Into The Hot Seat
and Their Electric Chair
And Others Have Gone Before Me
Burned Alive & Scorched 'Til Bare

And I'm Not Asking For Martyrdom Pity
I'm Just Letting Those Know, I Know ...
That I'm Sitting In The Hot Seat
... Waiting For Their Current To Flow

Now, I'm Sitting In The Hot Seat
And The Electric Chair
But If You Look Close Enough
You'll See I'm Climbing Up Love's Stair

And If Asked, 'Would I Do It Again
or Say The Things That I Declare ...'
Yes! I Would ... If It Helps Just One
Or Many Others' Lives To Spare

Even Sitting In The Hot Seat
and The Electric Chair
'Cause The Lord Said, 'Continue To Shine!'
His Light of Life To Share

And Foes Cannot Stop The Sound of Truth
Nor Insult, Nor Slur, Nor Scare
For There Will Always Be Others or One
Standing Up For Truth Somewhere

Even Sitting In The Hot Seat
and An Electric Chair
We Are Plugged Into The Power
of Pulsating Praise & Prayer

For We Must Shine Like Lightning-Bolts
To Give Human-Hearts A Holy-Love-Jolt
& Tell Mankind - Against GOD Do Not Revolt
Even Should Foes Send A 1000 Volts
& We  Suffer Their Anger & Assaults ...

... Sitting In Their Hot Seats
and Their Electric Chairs
We May Even Be Set On Fire
and Become A Literal Flare ...

And Accused & Castigated
While Foes Disemble & Dare
To Lie & Instigate Ill-Will
In Their Slander & Stoning-Lair

They're Placing Now Their Hot Seat
and Positioning Their Electric Chair
Yet GOD Soothes The Blazing Bruise
From Wildfire-Welts, Wear & Tear

and If I'm Used To Pull Just One
Or Even Only Just A Pair
From The Lake of Fire's Hot Seat
and The Last Electrocution Chair

Then It Will Have All Been Worth It ...
When Joy Rewards - Extraordinaire'!
From Sitting In Mankind's Hot Seats
& Surviving Their Searing, Electric Chair
