All people should obey,
Government in power;
Listen to what they say,
But try not to cower.
Government to serve you,
That God has laid to rest;
To live to His laws too,
Lawmakers to do best.
No government would be,
If it were not for God;
The laws to oversee,
We do not become flawed.
But sometimes we do doubt,
If congress does or not;
Know what law is about,
If guidance ever sought.
So maybe each of us,
Able to use the right;
Go and put up a fuss,
And be ready to fight.
God gave us liberty,
To think on our own;
Not within tyranny,
And ruling from a throne.
Let us do what is right,
And God will give you praise;
When you have seen the light,
God will guide you always.
But if you have done wrong,
Then you should be afraid,
Agony will prolong,
For those who disobeyed.
