The Ominous Black Sky

In the far stretches of the night is an ominous black sky.
There are so stars freely shining this evening.
Everything that seemingly could go wrong will go wrong with this sky being this way.
It is a time of black, pendulous and unnerving to endure with no let up.
The wolves hide in secret though they wish to bay at the moon there is none to be seen.
The black, and pendulous clouds hide the moon's face.
The ominous black sky is something that will be remembered for sometime to come.
A faint cry is heard atop the mountain as if I child has lost its mother.
The sound permeates the night as it invades the stillness.
What a feeling of dismay is felt with the town's people for they are useless in the fight against the ominous black sky.
There is one redeeming quality of life which is found within the Lord for He will end the night.
Suddenly, the recessed moon begins to shine as never before.
The stars return to the sky and the wolves are freely baying at the moon.
All from the one word from the Savior's lips.
No more ominous black sky is there to be seen for the recessed moon is now shining.
