'' As It's The Image I Now Portray ''

When born they said he needs a name,
One that'll bring him fortune and fame,
We don't want to cause him so much shame,
That he will run away.

Be very careful in his new title,
Respect and love are both vital,
We'll make it worthy of a recital,
There is such a wide array.

Why not call him after his Dad,
The wife retorted, are you mad,
I'm sorry but that would make him sad,
I will not call him Fay.

We really need to take our time,
With other words it cannot rhyme,
We need his title to sound sublime,
Or his character we will betray.

Both of us need to get this right,
For he is a lovely little mite,
One that will fill him with delight,
This should be child's play.

As they wavered to and fro,
I'm afraid my name they didn't know,
This was filling me with woe,
While they both felt dismay.

They said don't worry all will be fine,
Look at the bottle it must be a sign,
The name on our fourth bottle of wine,
It sounds just like a bouquet.

Finally they decided my nom de plume,
It was Mum who decided I presume,
What she decided was Little Bloom,
I tried to scream, no way.

They never gave my name much thought,
How could they leave me so distraught?
I'm glad my title they've now forgot,
It has caused me so much affray.

Getting plastered beforehand can reduce you to rubble,
That name you've chosen can burst their bubble,
All over now I'm known as ‘' TROUBLE ‘'
