Mom's Time Cooking the Turkey

Mom was the best at everything she did.
The fixing of the turkey was no exception.
Mom prepared the turkey to place in the oven overnight and was ready the next day.
From the large kitchen we had back then , I was able to watch Mom from the kitchen table.
Was a great experience for me to see the things she did.
Putting the turkey; in the oven, at 350 degrees and letting it cook for hours.
We were ready to eat in about three to four hours of time.
For Mom would always baste the turkey while cooking it.
Our meal was the most scrumptious than anyone could have made.
This is something Mom did year after year as well as Christmas.
I am recalling this today thanks to my brother, Ronnie for bringing it to my mind.
