Mom's Days In the Holiday Kitchen

The holiday kitchen was the usual kitchen Mom always worked.
But the holidays were upon us and there was  a special feeling; in the air
There was joy beyond measure that was felt for all of us.
Was a positive time for us to reflect upon the year as it drew closer to the end of the year.
Time seemed to have moved slowly until I reached the age of forty.
Then the time seemed to fast forward itself to the end without warning.
Mom's days in the holiday kitchen were happy days for all of us.
There was no one who could make a pan  of biscuits as Mom did.
The turkey was a highlight for me in knowing I'd have a drumstick.
Happiness engulfed us at every turn.
The people around us were like family and the times of he snow we had were blessed times for us to share.
Joy was a big part of the feelings I had while listening ot he music of the season.
There was expectation of something wonderful for us to receive which wwe did.
