Remember September

Remember September               November 23, 2013

Sidewalks crumbled as buildings fell
Blinding smoke with the smell from hell
Our heroes died as people cry
We remember them all and still ask why
Remember September, can we ever forget
Never said goodbye to the woman I met
No chance to say a last goodbye
No loving kiss with the one I miss
Taken from us, goodbye for ever
Sleepless night now and forever
We're American, we're proud and strong
The stars and stripes is our song
Sidewalks crumbled as buildings fell
Blinding smoke with the smell from hell
