Your Memory
How happy it was to hear the merry jingling of those bells
Also the way it makes my heart beats this thumping tells
That joyous season of Christmas is there and quite near
Bringing back that feeling of those times when you were here
Sitting among those aromatic flowers bring memories so dear
Their luxuriance depicted you and this brings a moment of such cheer
Also too demonstrating the richness to mu life you had brought
Now occupying a very special place in the mind what a thought
Down the drive way I looked and can see the hope in those children's eyes
As they came there knowing full well that they will get those pies
How you find the time to deal with and certainly reached them
Was something up to know I still cannot in anyway fathom
Now those little children and today some very fine men and women
And they still visit me just as often as those ones of our children
Repeating that it was your love and kindness that made their dreams a reality
And this had made that indelible make in that place called a memory
What an investment it proved that your show of love and kindness
Is now paying great dividends for me in this hour of my loneliness
The smile John gave me as he remembered your words of kindness and yet sternness
Certainly got through to him and from that other life's path he did address
Looking at and over them I could see the effects of your inspiration
This made me feel so proud that on them you made that impression
There is now doubt that from all of them such a joy did flow
And on the wall on which your picture hand we all saw that glow
