Because of the Lord Jesus Christ,
I asked that you have sacrificed;
And encourage you to excel,
So you do not wind up in hell.
Keep living a God pleasing life,
Endure any toils and strife;
Even more than you are doing,
Try to increase your pursuing.
Do this the way you have been taught,
You know where the answers you sought;
And the orders you were given,
Unto us from up in Heaven.
It is the will of God for you,
Stay devoted and remain true;
Keep away from sexual sin,
That loves to taunt you deep within.
You know finding husband or wife,
To have an honorable life;
And be done in a holy way,
Not passionate or lustful prey.
No one should exploit another,
Rather as sister or brother;
While you both believe in God,
Together to honor and laud.
The Lord is one will punish those,
Who decided to stray and chose;
Having sexual lifestyle
Or worship another idol.
You have been warned as well as told,
Not to be so rude or be bold;
Rather you must be humbly meek,
If it is the Lord that you seek.
