Adikaran's Poetry

At last, the baby was born
When the clock struck one
After waiting for long time
Eventually we all are relieved.
The nurse has given Mama some medicine
To recover and heal from this labour
The baby was looking beautiful, gorgeous
and amazing with her black hair .
The place was narrow and we brought this
Overboard to keep the baby next to mother
And we kept that under her bed for a moment.
If we leave that next to mama’s bed
The baby won’t be restless
The nurses given baby the first bath
And wrapped her with various muslin
clothes to keep her warm and dry.
She was our new jewel to inland
We had given her a welcome prayer.
When we celebrated her birth.
