Remembering A Past Christmas

When I was aged fourteen I was given my first suit of clothes.
Dad had purchased them from Styron's Men's Store.
The funny thing about this was I was the one who answered the phone call from the store.
Thinking I was Dad they went on to tell me about the alterations they had made.
I was so happy and excited to know I had a new suit of clothes which was my first suit with the coat and the pants.
The way I looked was so special and I was beaming from ear to ear.
For the salesman didn't dampen my spirits but helped to grow them to the expectancy I had concerning the suit.
They thought I was Dad on the phone and was chattering away without thought it could have been myself on the other end.
This is a great Christmas I remembered and now share it with you.
I am delighted to say the suit lasted me for years as it made me look super.
