A word or two or maybe more
A state of mind and soul adored
No less should come but so much more
For mankind the veil He tore
His birth draws near, will we draw to
The Son of Man who calls anew
A moment yours to so reflect
To ponder thought of things yet met
Your end of days upon this Earth
Treasure His of untold worth
Our need to be becomes and comes
Our source of life for life He won
Eternally when last breath draws
Outward and short of Heavens door
Call again and listen close
To Voice but His the Lord of Hosts
That knew His days would fast become
The course to blaze for His loved ones
From manger His, to cross He bared
All of Him that came to spare
Misfortune ours, our need to be
With Him, with life eternally
The need to be, not just to spend
Commercialized less condescend
The need to be, man's chance to live
A second chance as He forgives
Our need to be, forgiven
