I Once Was Blind But Now I See
A Favorite Christmas I Remember
There was a time when I was in my twenties and Christmastime was about to happen.
I had ordered a new stereo from Sears and wanted to get it out this week before Christmastime.
Well, I succeeded to do as I had wished.
The day was so wonderful for I went to Sears and get the stereo putting it in Dad's car.
The night didn't end there for we had gone out to eat at the Rex Restaurant.
It was truly Christmastime for me in having this new stereo and the time with my parents.
We shared the costs of the meal and was a good thing for us to do.
I couldn't wait to get home and try out my new eight track recorder ; on the stereo.
The tree we had for the year was an artificial tree but was made to be pretty for the ornaments we had on there.
I was a happy camper in seeing this tree take shape as I would continue to decorate.
This was truly a favorite Christmastime for me to remember.
Why?
Because I had my Christmas music blaring and having a great time of hearing it.
The many things we had for that year was special for each of member got something from me for Christmas.
This is from the time I was able to work and did,
It was truly a wonderful time and will always be cherished as well as affectionately remembered.
