everyday. The Kingsmen should thank us. We drove in a car
with a portable recorder kids giving us the thumbs up Law
trying to track us down. Oh, the lost love. I finally gave
up on Lillian. "I only have eyes for you" The Flamingoes.
She wanted to play around. Who could forget Frogman Henry?
"Aint Got no home!" A blind date she wuz. Me in Airforce
uniform shipping out the next day. Jazzed to fortyfive up
and danced away. Bop bop be bop, left for San Antonio the
next day. We shared, "Love letters in the Sand", Pat Boone,
"I'll be Home" The Flamingoes again. Last I heard she's
married with three kids. "Walk away Renee" The Associations
What can I say,"The letter" by the Box tops, She was a "wild
thing." The Zombies. "96 tears" by Paul Revere, I met "Sheri"
The Beach Boys. "My Special Angel". Bobby Helms.Anyone moved
by music today? Drugs and thugs, "Like a Virgin?" Madonna. Give
me old time Rock and Roll. "I love an Angel" Little Bill and
the bluenotes. Fifty two years now I have to go!

Storm Clouds
The Practiced dialog came so easy;
Words memorized and well versed,
Why is your stomach feeling quesy?
You only have to say them as rehearsed!
Storm Clouds are enveloping the sky,
The air is alive with singing birds,
Two joggers as one come trotting by,
Well the chattering drown out your words?
But none are you able to say,
For not even a nod as she walks away.
As a train comes rumbling down the tracks.
And quickly she had gone on her way,
And for you she well never look back,
So to continue would be so absurd
Yet the tears shed you cannot restrain,
Sobs lost in the sounds of new falling rain
And you look up and her train is gone from the track.
