A Christmas Nativity

For years my dad who is now passed away used to say of the Nativity was an activity scene.
There is no correcting him for it was a great activity going on that night when Mary gave birth.
This is something that has remained within me during the holidays that it was an activity and though it was the Nativity is was for a great purpose.
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts for the fellowmen we have in our world.
What better way to remember the Nativity than think of it as an activity?
Rejoice in the goodness of the Lord for making it so.
For the heart of man is all wretched and blinded to the things of God as it is on its own without Him.
But with the Lord there is a  newness to the world that it has never seen before.
Take joy in the personal relationship  you have with the Lord and never regret giving  your life to God.
