My Dear Friends. and Fellow Poets;
I'm sorry if I have not had a chance to personally thank
each of you for your well wishes, love and faithful friendships
you have given me, in your sweet and caring messages at Thanksgiving time...
a time to be thankful for all of our poetry family of awesome friends,
I do truly do appreciate each and every one of you''
This thanksgiving was a bitter/sweet one for me.
remembering family and friend members who are no longer here
to sit together with us in being thankful as we used to do.
I now am the only living sibling left from a family of nine
4 sisters and four brothers, feels strange to have all of them,
including Mom and Dad. not here at Thanksgiving anymore.
most of all the absence of my son Frankie,
who never missed a home cooked Thanksgiving Dinner
with all of us!...
I apologize to those I have not yet gotten back in thanking you
for your very compassionate words on my `Thanksgiving write,
On The Lighter Side. concerning my son Frankie,
which truly touched my heart, with love, peace and comfort

CONSIDER LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, FIRE AND RESCUE PERSONNEL,
BORDER PATROL INDIVIDUALS, INVOLVED IN NATIONAL DEFENSE.
THINK OF THE FEARLESS MEN AND WOMEN WHO PUT ON A UNIFORM
EVERY DAY
TO MAKE FREEDOM POSSIBLE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO FREEDOMS WITHOUT
THOSE WILLING TO FIGHT FOR THEM...
