Words Hurt
Out of the mouth
Mean words may fly.
A hateful tongue
That makes one cry.
He said, she said,
who said that?
It was spoken of her
that she is fat.
Her looks are ugly
and her hair is a mess.
Look at the way
she chooses to dress.
She feels the hit
whether true or not.
The pain is there
and it hurts a lot.
The voice to judge
can be a danger.
Even if you are
a friend or stranger.
Enough is said
when words are cold.
Much lies and gossip
have been told.
Do not repeat
the bad words said.
Be that person
to break the spread.
