Christmas Twenty-five Years Ago

This particular Christmas was looking rather bleak.
But there was a man by the name of Carl M. who came to the rescue.
He took an interest; in my desires to have a Christmas tree and something to put under there.
Not to mention or forget the good food we were about to miss.
He did this all in one afternoon.
He bought me a Christmas tree for our home.
There were some presents we had got ourselves that fit under the tree.
The good food though was supplied by the rescue squad in our part of town.
There was enough stuff for us to have lasted until sometime in February of the next year.
This was in addition to the amount of things we had done ourselves.
The Lord added to the blessings and gave a wonderful Christmas to the three of us.
I will always remember and treasure the gifts he freely gave us and including the tree which was so important for us to have.
The Lord really met the need by one person and we are so thankful to Him.
