Christmas and I

The holiday season is already upon us.
There is an expectancy in the eyes of the children for their favorite gift to be given.
A heart full of love is also coupled with the Lord's grace He freely gives us.
Christmas and I go back a long ways to fifty-eight years for me to remember the holidays.
I was three at the time and have a great recollection of the time spent with my family.
It was truly a special time for me and I am most glad to say the Lord was honored for His love and blessings He freely gave.
Joy fills my heart in remembering the good times of Christmas where there was my brother Bob.
There were  so many more that was alongside of me during the time of my stay; in a nursing home.
I had my brother and sister to come see me for our parents had passed away.
Though I was lugubrious over their passing there was a great joy felt for the love of my other family members gave me.
I remember this so well.
The Lord added to my joy with the many things I received.
