Me Haces Falta By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
In words alone I share this day
The very you as once I played
A role I loved, a place inside
Of heart, of yours in mine that sighs
Again this day as yesterday
I'm filled with thoughts that run away
Holding your hand, holding my breath
My search ending with what is left
There you are in sun dress yours
Eyes behold what still endures
A scent of you, today will cure
The need, my fix no less than sure
Dance so I can see again
Your taste for life my love, my friend
That made a skip in heart that tends
To leap for joy if just pretend
Me haces falta, thank God for dreams
They come at night that daylight schemes
To steal away when dawn becomes
The end of things that left someone
Someone like you who left their mark
Someone like me with heart that sparks
Of yesterday not long ago
Of heartfelt things two use to know
