Christmas without you hereThe closer Christmas gets The heavier my heart feels The empty spot I try to fill With lights and music and cheer But..it just isn't the same It's not the same without you here Even though I know you're always close by The heaviness of you being gone Flows gently from my eyes Though Heaven is more beautiful since you're there Here on Earth it's sad and dark and blue Christmas is everywhere but it's nothing without you It's in the streets and homes and in children's faces But it's nothing without you here In my heart...Christmas is with you in Heaven Try as hard as I might The Christmas I love isn't down here tonight It's with you in the Heavens above I know you'd want me to be happy, to celebrate To be full of joy and happiness But Christmas without you here Brings a heavy sad emptiness I will put on a happy face For those around me...I will try But deep in my heart Endless tears I will cry Tomorrow is a new day One day closer to Christmas without you here You're missed dearly sweet Angel in Heaven From down here on Earth I send to you Christmas Cheer I'll pray for a lighter heart To be happy as you'd want for us this year It won't be the same for us spending This first Christmas Without you here From your friends and loved ones here on Earth Merry Christmas Sweet Angel Merry Christmas to you MISSED AND LOVED FOREVER BY: Cindy Biser (12/12/13) Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
