A Childhood Fantasy Comes to Life

The season is upon us to really celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I like to think of a little child who has a dream of Christmastime.
He is wondering if he will receive his wish for a fire truck.
He has been good all year and is really expecting this fine gift.
Well, there is a family who are poor and not able to do the things they like to do.
This little boy happens to  be in this family.
But hope against hop he clings to the promise of getting the fire truck.
Mainly because he has been good all year long.
A stranger overheard the parent's say they couldn't afford any gifts.
So, he finds the fire truck and wraps it putting the boy's name on it.
Christmas morning is a knock on the door.
Billy, the little boy, opens the door and to his surprise there is the fire truck.
Simply placed on the tag was the name of Billy and  left blank in the line from.
The man who bought the truck was waiting across the street and saw the boy;s face.
This is all he needed to see and drove away.
The Lord supplied the means and Billy got his fire truck.
