Echoes

As I stand at your place of rest
I will try my very best
To tell you how I miss you so
And wish you did not have to go.
I hear the songs we sang together
I will remember them forever
The day we met, you`re hair like dawn
Burgundy trousers you had on
Hair to your shoulders,a middle shade
All the silly games we played
Eyes as blue as a summer sky
I will never say goodbye
There were times and not a few
When I could have murdered you
But you always made me smile
So in just a little while
I could forgive the pain
And start again
Those dimples were so very dear
And often worthy of the tears
Of laughter,that you spread around
Now there`s nothing,not a sound,
But echoes I will hear forever
`Till once again we are together.
So in Heaven hear my sorrow
And in some far away tomorrow
You shall show me up the stair
But for now just know, I care.
And sometimes let me know,
You`re there.
