Of all the male cooks I have known there is one special one named Lyle B.
The confections he’d prepare was something most wonderful.
I remember him working and laboring over the stove in preparation of the confections.
It was a special time for me in the preparation for they were scrumptious.
Dad and I were the recipients of these confections.
It was a race to see which one of us would have the last one.
Joy was ours to share and did with the confections Lyle B. made.
I will remember though feel sad of the ones who gave such joy for Lyle B. is no longer with us.
I am remembering him for the man he is and was.
Lyle B. isn’t totally gone for he remains within our hearts.
He will be remembered and cherished for who he was and remains to be.
Bless you, Lyle B. for the joy you bring to us.
