Deep within the corner of darkness
Across the vast universe time marches onward
It's the cosmic birth, born to this world
Delivered by the Gods in ancient times
Repeats upon the last shooting star belonging to eve of anew
Its arrival surrounded in prayers of peace
For our world troubled with strife
Anticipation heightens to a fever pitch
Waiting for the countdown to be witnessed by all
Over the mountain range
Giving birth to the seven sisters
Seven in light and seven in dark
Exploding into glorious flames
Bursting into the brightest of hopeful and goodwill fires
So like that of the magnificent Phoenix
From her ashes of once before
Now reborn from a spark gone a blaze
Countdown, ten, nine, eight, seven
To the birth anew
Six, five, four, three, two, one
Is finally here
Etched forever amongst the constellations across the universe
Father-time vanishes into the abyss of what once was
Written amongst the stars
Are the resolutions of mans hopes and dreams
Weighing heavy on the shoulders
Of the baby New Year... "2014" Written amongst the stars
He shall be named "Blaze"
