Christmas Memories

Years ago when but a child,  I had the occasion of remaining awake long enough to smell the pumpkin and sweet potato pies Mom and her friend  Frances were baking.
We had been sent to bed but the smell permeated the whole house.
I couldn't sleep for the smell was so wonderful.
I rejoice; in remembering this time of the year for us.
Christmas memories are precious and lovingly wonderful.
The Lord has given me the privilege of having my memories and sharing them with you, my readers.
May the spirit of Christmas be found; in your heart today and all through the new year.
The Lord has a special reason for we being alive; in the time we are.
It is by His design and purpose we have the peace we have through Him.
May you have Christmas memories as well and share them today with someone very close.
For this is a special day and time for us.
May we never forget the real Reason for the season.
Jesus is the only Reason for the season and we should always remember this.
