That Stance
Whilst those who celebrate in the atmosphere of the season
Others may look back at the hype with some degree of trepidation
Having in the process embarked on a voyage in the waters of squander mania
Now some news they got now gave the feeling of uncertainty and hysteria
The actions taken have left them drained financially and so there is that vulnerability
Because they have lived most of the year taking pains to proceed cautiously
Keeping in mind that there is the presence still of the nemesis called recession
But got roped in as there was the positive sign but it was only a small session
Some worker in a country will sometime in the start of the coming year
Will have certainly some reason to be gripped by some fear
Because they may find themselves in some sort of bind
As there will be that possibility that they may be in the unemployment line
This has really brought to the fore the maturity of the trade union
Who are trying to work with both sides to find an even milder solution?
Having meeting and dialogue with all sectors of those who are members
Seeking from them ideas and ways to ensure the employment of workers
Also looking to provide an help for those who cannot deal with the shocks
When they hear that sound of the ticking of their employment clocks
Then in the distance they may hear those promises made by the politician
Now believing in the veracity has brought about this unfortunate situation
There was on proposal that certainly took some thought and too some guts
As some decided that an option would require the taking of salary cuts
This will require that commitment by a great percentage of the worker
Who has measure of the situation and has that love and care for a brother
It is quite clear that the country has placed itself in predicament
By borrowing, overspending and now has issues with its balance of payment
Having fear, or running away but a patriotic stance by all and sundry
Is the only that there will be growth and a return to solvency
