Another Road
Some people may spend the time listening to the chimes of church bells
As their peelings the passing and advent of another will heralds
Other may find some alternatives and may see the passing of that hour
In the presence of effervescent champagne and firework will be the order
But when the noise to blow out that last flicker of the year's light fades away
In some way signally that it is now the dawning of another day
That moment there is that feeling like Janus having that two face
One in which there is that looking back and another the start of another race
As expected there will be the time for and audit as well as making that resolution
But deep inside there is that feeling like one again the staring of a revolution
Because many of them were the ones made over and over for a decade
So this sort of continuously cycling had now become more like a charade
But all may not be that bad there had to be something positive in a department
One in which there is some hope one that shows a ray of an accomplishment
It not to feel down or any type of failure if there is little or no success
Just try to ensure that in the coming year an effort is made to do the best
As always there will be lots of variables in the setting down of life's equation
And like most things it may require lots of applications of permutations and combinations
But one thing that has plaque and be a thorn in many sides with some destruction
Is that worldwide knave so merciless and it was in the form of the recession
Therefore this year even there may be that facing of a rough grind
Always remember one's greatest power is in the tough walls of the mind
So put up that fight, get that resourceful spirit and keep moving forward
Because situations remain when and only when the opponent is a coward
