Walkin on Air

What Bubble Did You Choose?

Sun, Moon and Stars populate heaven
human bubbles populate the Earth;
sin in time grows like leaven
so death is begun by birth.

We want to move on; do the next thing,
disregarding God's mercy here
that salvation's grace will bring:
Lovelight of God for to share.

Christ came: he died, he rose and then went;
promised he would come back again.
Yet our world seems so Hell bent,
will Christ find faith among men?

Are any saints now truly ready
our beloved Master to greet?
Our faith then is it steady
to joyfully Jesus meet?

"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” - John 15:5

Do you bear fruit of spirit or flesh,
what might be the thorn in your side?
Do you allow Christ to thresh
your soul and in truth abide?

Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. - Isaiah 11:1-2

Jesus, God's Holy Spirit Power,
is the truly Anointed One:
Valley Lilly spring flower,
God's only begotten Son.

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call his name Immanuel.” - Isaiah 7:14

Perfect and sinless he came to be,
born of a virgin young and fair;
his blood cleanses and sets free
captives caught in Satan's lair.

"But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity." - Micah 5:2

Immanuel from ‘House of Bread' sprang:
the Old Testament ‘bread-crumb trail'
led to where the Angels sang,
and Jesus met cross and nail.

The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. - Isaiah 9:2

Deeper the darkness, brighter the light:
believe and God's Lovelight receive!
Join the race to make things right,
your eternal life retrieve!

Surely our grief he bore, and our sorrows he carried; yet we ourselves esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was pierced through for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon him, and by his scourging we are healed. - Isaiah 53:4-5

Who has no problems, tells not the truth,
but takes refuge in delusion;
in assembly is uncouth
and dotes on life's ablutions.

All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on him. - Isaiah 53:6

How dumb is the sheep, must I wonder?
Wolves them repeatedly capture
and decidedly plunder:
they with fancy charms allure.

"I am the Light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Lovelight of life." John 8:12

Deacon Stephen looked up, saw Jesus
as stones assaulted his body,
believing God's Word frees us
in spite of wounds all bloody.

"I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" - John 11:25-26

So then, what do you believe, dear friend?
It really is just up to you:
all must we come to the end,
ride the bubble we've chosen to.
