The Bludgeoned
Within the coldest depths of ever
Unto the darkest , Nothing’s morrow ,
Within Surreal’s unkenned wae –
Hides this bludgeoned , reeking sorrow .
Immured within Edenic’s crypt
Wherein lies my Anima’s death ,
Therein thus a love was cast –
Ere I burned of Eros breath .
But oh , how disappointments sprawl
And Merriment’s busses fade ,
Whence hereof my future passed –
Left me bludgeoned , but unafraid !
And thus unto my final course
Unfurls such horrid , fearful dread ;
Once I drank from Linn of Love -
That in me now is dead .
