Today will mark an end to things
The old, the past will mean nothing
But have you given thought this day
To breath you drew of yesterday
It was through Him who made it so
Christ who holds and won't let go
You He calls daughter and son
You He calls beloved one
Was not by will you call your own
But by Gods will, your life was sown
Sown to be His testament
Sown to be with sole intent
A child called His to live and love
To be no less you He thinks of
To emulate Him when time calls
To comfort those in need of more
For in your heart He left His seed
To share of Him for man to feed
Make no mistake time will come
To answer to The Father and Son
Of how you lived and breathed of Him
Upon this world, He saved from sin
Breathe again, a new year comes
Share of Gods breath, His will be done
Happy New Year
