January OneWhat does this new year hold, More resolutions of the bold, Losing weight or give up sex, That won't last, so what's next, Lets shake hands, call a truce, Wars are only humanity abuse, Treat thy neighbour as thyself, That's the key to moral wealth, Keep resolutions all year through, Promises made to yourself be true, Wish others the best they can be, Health and happiness be the key, Can 2014 could be a year of change, With our heads in gear to rearrange, Old attitudes that will have to go, It's your sincerity you need to show, A year of hope I wish to everyone, Today January 1st the year just begun, Understanding, tolerant and humble too, May what you give out come back to you Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
