From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
My passion is my poison
Most times I forget I'm just human
So I plan to forget love
Just not about you
But you are love
So what am I to do
You appear in my unconscious
Even there I get nervous
Stammering on all I've wanted to say
Finally I stop holding back
I can't take my eyes off your face
I hear your voice; my heart melts
It's like I just fell in love with you yesterday
Eyes shut wide open
But when they finally open
You've disappeared
Funny I don't believe you have
I swear I see you from time to time
Hear your voice, see your gestures
You're even in my thoughts and prayers
Only thing missing is your touch
I miss your embrace
I miss your taste
Is it a given I simply miss your face
How do I move on when I believe
There's no one who can take your place
What I mean is
You're my meant to be
I've met many attractive women
But none as beautiful as you
A couple who I thought could be
My getting over you remedy
Only to be wrong once again
I can't help but compare them to you
They pale drastically
From you I don't think
I'll ever divert my attention
Maybe subconsciously
That has always been my intention

Makes sense if you are love
Which makes you my poison
Who is undoubtably My Passion
