As if the night begged for a moment
to reach the right one, the right heart.
And so, I create the space of dreams
and move across the window pane of time
calling out a name, building the face of a man,
offering  a plate of silver endearments.
Then I wait in winter silence, in summer hope
as my delicate wishes become my perfect reality.
