Went for a walk the other day
In a wee place in county down
Called Moria, one of the goddess of
fate and what do you thing I found, a pen.

now the next thought to cross my mind was
we’re I’ll get a coffee in this county town
wasn’t  just the coffee I wanted, thought
I’d  write a poem with my new pen. After all
if you’re in a town named after one of fates
then you gotta go with the flow, okay here
goes,’ Moria it’s a charming little town, cozily

nestled amongst pastoral land, now that I put
that thought down, maybe the pen I found
belonged to a farmer writing out his list of
springtime seeds to bring colour and joy
to the drumlins that sweep across county Down
simple turn left at the top of the town and follow

the road all the way to into County Down, then on
to Newcastle, this town renowned for the
mountains that sweep down to the sea, auld
Percy French wrote a powerful song, hmm where
am I oh yes in a wee café in Moria with a pen I found
laying on the ground, have to stop, getting carried away,
but then, it's always a wonder when you find a pen.
