Chameleon

Shape shifter of magnetic proportions,
So deceived and cunning,
Moving effortlessly like a new breed of contortions.
Never once had you figured out,
So confident and decadent without a single doubt.
Drinking you in like a lover's portion,
You came across like another notion.
To plan and steal away the heart that lies within,
First you broke down my barriers to get underneath my smooth skin.
I never saw you coming…
I couldn't't catch my breath …you were just so overcoming.
Your smile and your laugh,
I thought you could possibly be my better half.
My judgment was completely off,
I need to clear my throat…I need to cough…
Up everything I have digested from you,
You changed my path to a whole different avenue.
A chameleon you are…
A particular little star.
One essence of your touch changed me,
I can't believe this happened…how could it be?
So similar in thought, words, and phrases…
Of my thinking and rationale,
Do you have any decency or any sense of morale?
Your inconsistency and indecisiveness is so appalling,
Your changing before my eyes you chameleon…wait are you stalling!
Cleverly calculated and purposefully persuasive you are,
You would never think you are just sub par.
