Diego and the Waterfront

It has  been sometime since we mentioned Diego.
However, he is very much the artist he always had been.
This day he is on the waterfront.
Seeing the Contanental Shelf, a pleasure boat, captures his eye.
The beautiful white body of the boat with the red trim is something to ponder.
To the left of the pleasure boat is an old hospital by the name of Harborview.
The area is engulfed with the seagulls freely flying as Diego gets to his pallet and paints.
A beautiful sight is seen from the blue sky and the puffy white clouds.
A song comes over the radio Diego has with him.
He loves to sing along and it makes  him so merry as he continues.
The Contanental Shelf shines within all its glory.
The people are all assembled around the bow and the stern.
They have their fishing poles out alongside the boat.
Calm is the water and the wind today.
Making for a most exciting portrait are these elements of wind and water.
There is a sense of rejoicing on the faces of the patrons aboard the boat.
With a hooded parka, Diego begins his portrait.
Taking in all the things he sees all around him.
There is a wanton spirit about Diego that mystifies him but excites him at the same time.
The water begins to splash against the boat.
Going into the deeper waters is the goal of the captain.
He purposely maneuvers the boat to the deeper waters and there sets anchor.
Diego is along for the ride and captures all the people and the other things aboard boat.
Joy encompasses Diego for the portrait is now complete.
Taking the portrait ashore is the next thing he will do to find  a place for it in his portfolio.
This is the excursion of the painter Diego and the beautiful sights he saw.
