Don't Lapse
Keep brightening in so many ways those days
Send those many roses or even aromatic bouquets
But the thing that will most of all heighten that delight
Is to wine and dine here in flickering candle light
In most times let her know what's on the mind
And no better moment than a walk in the sunshine
But when you want to whisper just do it so right
Where else but in the shadows of that golden moonlight
Be innovative find ways to keep the romance alive
Don't be tardy or static and let it takes a nose dive
Never think for one moment that all is well and happy
And get lapse into a state the breathe complacency
Be proactive and keep in mind that very fact
That a relationship is something that is so abstract
And while you sit there and in the process amble
Then you may see that as human beings we are quite fickle
Be attentive always in and when there is a conversation
And be very respectful of her well though opinion
Look into those eyes see that way in which they sparkle
The luster of diamond is in no way comparable
And those days when you get home from work early
Don't sit around on the couch and just watch the TV
Take that time out to prepare that very special dinner
And later lift her up take to enjoy dessert in the private chamber
