daffodils are pushing from the under ground
ready for the spring so they can be found
birds are getting ready for springtime song
happy as can be as they bob along
trees begin to bud to as they begin to grow
it is nearly spring that is how they let us know
a season full of nature that we can plainly see
when things begin to grow that we can watch for free
