The light at the entrance
Begins in the path you choose to take
To follow the white light
The path that leads to Heaven's gate
For the end of the tunnel is unlit
And lost the unworthy who wait and sit
Even you stumble in the darkness
Try not to enter into a endless abyss
That some call hopelessness
For those found worthy
A hand well come and guide your path
As others leave to face the devils wrath
In soft voices inside your head
Those chosen by the Angels who lead the way
From the shadowed mist in soft words say
"Be not guided by the devil's words!"
Or follow addicts and thieves the absurd
Assured that in the white light old friends pass by
White doves of peace envelope the sky
Though often some wander in faith alone
Knowing Jesus and his love well be shown
And still there are those in an endless quest
From denial of sinfully haze too many to confess
In passing you'll see their faces in the ashes
Haunting pleading off to meet the devil's lashes
For too many on this day losing their faith
Only to become lost in an endless tide
Of those wandering aimlessly as grains of sand
Descending in the mist of fog in a pit of fires
You can only feel pity caught are they in their own desires
