'' It Came With A Years M.O.T. ''

I went out and bought a second hand car,
It made me feel like a superstar,
In my new wheels I'll travel far,
Everyone will look at me.

Fancy dashboard, beautiful interior,
A lovely seat for my posterior,
I always go for something superior,
With that you'd have to agree.

It has all four wheels and fancy tyres,
I love the sound when the engine backfires,
It truly fulfils all my desires,
If you're good I might let you see.

There's air conditioning in the floor,
I can see the street through every door,
Through the sunroof the rain doth pour,
Which saves me stopping for tea.

They're saying I've made a major gaffe,
My fancy car is really naff,
When I drive by they all laugh,
It seems to fill them with glee.

When they see me coming they all cower,
They're all just a jealous shower,
O to 60 in just under an hour,
I love my Ford Capri.

When the exhaust fell off in the river it sank,
The water was really dark and dank,
My search for it drew a blank,
All I found was a tree.

When the engine started sounding rough,
I complained to the dealer he said tough,
My claims of conning me they did rebuff,
Saying you bought it with no guarantee.

Investing in quality does not come cheap,
The moral of my story is before you leap,
How was I to know my car was a heap?
