Listen and accept my word,
Do not think as too absurd;
For they will add years to life,
So you can cope with the strife.
I taught you of the wisdom,
Fed by God from His Kingdom;
Guided through the deceitful path,
So you would be spared the wrath.
When you walk nothing hampered,
Your path will not be tampered;
God ensures of no trouble,
Your path clear not to stumble.
So please cling to discipline,
And not tempted by the sin;
Do not relax get a grip,
No vulgar words from your lip.
It is your life so hold on,
Through the night into the dawn;
Evil lurks along the way,
And will grab you if you stray.
Avoid and do not walk near,
But God assures of no fear;
Turn away and keep walking,
Onto God just keep talking.
Wicked people cannot sleep,
Only wrongful acts they reap;
Because of their attitude,
They rest having a bad mood.
Righteous paths are like the dawn,
As the darkness is withdrawn;
That gets brighter till mid-day,
Keep them from going astray.
