Greater Light

I hold the image of her radiant eyes

In the camera of my mind

And I send her red roses

From my very best ever thoughts.

I do not care what others say,

She may be tarnished in their world,

But in mine she is forever my princess

And I will always be her friend,

Always be there when she needs someone.

Is that not why we all live

Upon this whirling globe of light?

Please come to me when you are sad,

For even if I have fallen into pain

It is only to grow a little closer,

Only to know you a little more,

And I know that within our hearts

We follow a much greater Light,

Than is seen by mortal eyes.
