Hope

Hope remains when all else has fled

With soft blue eyes and golden hair

She scents the world with tender light

And brings the purple dawn to life.

In the shadows tears fall in silence

But she fills the void with love and joy

She dances through the morning air

Open to the beauty that touches her,

The alchemy of her blossoming heart

Chases away the nightmares of loneliness,

The radiance of her sacred smiles

Illumine the dark places of the soul

And sing within the searching minds

Of those who seek the Golden Age

And know that it lives within us all.

When she draws near the dark clouds part

And sunlight warms the aching soul.

In the silence of crystalline days

Or amidst the din of our confusion

She is ever willing to sing to us

Of better times and radiant days to come.

Her voice is ever whispering in our ears,

Her touch will always bring us back to life.
