You woke this morn and groomed again
To face the world, dear tired friend
Another tasking day to give
You're best today to try and live
This race you call human your own
Fast has become what you condone
No love for one but for themselves
This war alone you face yourself
Think again, my lonely friend
This story told of bitter end
Has no place inside your heart
Know well you are of greater part
A part of one who loves you more
One who comes with more in store
For you, for all if we just came
To know The Lord who does sustain
Sustaining life since time began
All things breathing and the first man
The fowl of air and fish of sea
The landscapes formed by majesty
A greater plan for all this day
If all believed, kneeling to pray
To come to know that he controls
Each beat of heart as yours He holds
Better days do lie ahead
For tail you're not but much the head
He formed to be like Him, His son
To keep alive, what Life begun
Second thoughts, another chance
To know of love, in Christ romanced
