Wake up you sleeper,
Rise up from the dead;
Become a leaper,
Bread of life is fed.
Christ will shine on you,
He will give the zeal;
Burst your body through,
Energy to feel.
But very careful,
Of the way you live;
Be very prayerful,
Through the time you give.
Live not as a fool,
But more like the wise;
Abide in each rule,
God will not despise.
Make the most of all,
These are evil days;
You may trip and fall,
Get lost in a maze.
Do not be foolish,
But do understand;
Not to be a fish,
Living on the land.
And do not get drunk,
On wine or strong drink;
You may talk some bunk,
Since you did not think.
Fill with the Spirit,
Sing spiritual songs;
Giving full merit,
Where honor belongs.
