Poetic Verses
Internet Warning
A warning to internet users everywhere,
You may sit in wonder about what I have to share.
You could become the victim of a dangerous spy,
be careful what you say because it is not a lie.
Look all around you, there is nothing in sight,
the person that haunts you is not seen day or night.
He is watching you close and he knows every move
and this stalker in his silence is very hard to prove.
It could be a tiny camera or a chip placed on you
that allows a stranger to know your say and do.
While you sleep in the night and think you are alone
an intruder gets started and even taps your phone.
The curse of the moment is the lie that is spread
that allows the person to watch you no matter what is said.
The greatest test of all you will have to endure
and it shows the internet is a danger for sure.
Be careful when you chat behind a computer screen,
the person may seem nice but he is never seen.
There is no force and your side is never heard
they sneak around and nobody dares say a word.
Keep your faith strong throughout the ordeal
they can get into your head and read how you feel.
You can't fight the enemy that wears a disguise,
there are no doors or windows to keep out their eyes.
They invade your privacy in ways you don't know
and their actions will make you struggle wherever you go.
Your personal information is not secret at all
when the evil that surrounds you is on every wall.
Your location is detected and your movements are known
there is no escaping those that refuse to leave you alone.
You may have different beliefs and that will not change,
the voices in your head will start to seem strange.
They steal your thoughts and cause you to scream,
I will tell you right now this doesn't come from a dream.
The police will not believe the stories you tell
of the intruders that hide and keep secrets so well.
They will ask you to prove that somebody is there
and this is when you will find that life isn't fair.
These terrorists of the web can mess with your day,
they hijack the innocent and they will not go away.
Listen to my warnings about computer and phone
because a stalker is not always seen when you are alone.
Do not trust those on the internet who seem alright,
this could happen to you and it could happen tonight.
